These terms cover your use of takeovr.gg. By creating an account you accept them.
TakeOvr is a marketplace with two sides.
Takeovrs. Clients post a stage in a mobile game they want cleared and pay its price upfront. Providers apply at that price, and the client picks one.
Account marketplace. Members list game accounts to sell or trade with each other. This side is not open yet; when it opens, section 7 applies to it.
In both cases the agreement is between the two members. We are not a party to it. We provide the platform, hold the payment while the deal happens, and take a fee when it completes. We do not clear stages, do not own or sell accounts ourselves, and do not guarantee any member will do what they said.
You must be at least 18. One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your password and security code to yourself.
You must give a real email address and confirm it before the account works.
Read this part properly. Most game publishers forbid both account sharing and account transfer in their own terms. Letting someone else play your account, or buying an account from someone else, may breach your agreement with the publisher and can result in the account being suspended or permanently banned, and in-game purchases being lost.
That risk is yours, not ours. TakeOvr does not endorse breaking any publisher's rules, cannot protect a game account, and will not compensate you for any action a publisher takes against one. If you are not willing to accept that, do not use this service.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any game publisher named anywhere on this site. Game names are used only to describe what a listing or request is about.
The client pays when posting, and the amount is held rather than passed on. It is released to the provider when the client confirms the work is done. If the deal is cancelled before completion, the payment is refunded to the card it came from.
We take a platform fee from each completed deal. The current fee is shown before you commit and in your account. Held funds earn no interest.
Amounts shown as earned on TakeOvr are a record of what you are owed on the platform. They are not a bank account and are not covered by any deposit protection scheme.
The seller or provider marks the job done. The buyer or client confirms it. Confirmation releases payment and cannot be reversed from your account, so check before confirming.
If it has not been done properly, send it back rather than confirming. If the two of you cannot agree, contact us at support@takeovr.gg and we will look at the record before deciding.
These rules apply to the account marketplace. Breaking any of them can get your TakeOvr account closed and, where money changed hands, reported.
Sellers. You may only list an account you genuinely own and control. You must not list an account that was borrowed, shared with you, bought with someone else's money, or obtained through phishing, a breach, a chargeback, or any other fraud.
Describe it honestly: roster, spend level, server or region, linked platforms, and any warning or suspension it has received. Leaving out a ban history is treated as fraud, not an oversight.
When a sale completes you must hand over everything needed to control the account, and you must not keep a copy of that access, attempt account recovery, or contact the publisher to reclaim it afterwards. Doing so after taking payment is theft and we will treat it that way.
Buyers. Check what you are buying before you confirm. Once you confirm, payment is released and the deal is done.
What we cannot do. We cannot verify that a seller truly owns an account, and we cannot stop a publisher reclaiming, suspending, or banning a traded account at any point afterwards, including long after the sale. We do not compensate for that. Escrow protects you against a seller who never hands over access. It does not protect you against the publisher.
We may refuse, remove, or unlist anything at our discretion, and we will remove listings we believe involve stolen accounts.
Rank reflects completed jobs on TakeOvr. We may adjust or remove a rank we believe was obtained dishonestly. Rank has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred.
You can close your account from your account page once you have no funds and nothing in progress.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where money is held for a deal in progress, we will settle it fairly before closing anything.
The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that anything you post will attract interest. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost game progress, banned or reclaimed game accounts, or lost in-game items or currency.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will say so on the site. Continuing to use TakeOvr after a change means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the law of country to confirm: Spain, and disputes go to the courts of city to confirm: Madrid.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country's law, and you may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
