This explains what TakeOvr collects about you, why, and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your data is legal name and registered address needed, contactable at support@takeovr.gg.

2. What we collect

When you sign up: your display name, email address, and the IP address the signup came from. Your password and your security code are stored only as one-way values, so we cannot read either of them back.

When you use the marketplace: the requests you post, the bids you place, the chat messages you send, and which jobs you completed.

When money moves: a ledger entry recording the amount, the type of movement, the job it relates to, and when it happened.

Automatically: a login cookie so you stay signed in, and standard server logs kept by our host.

We do not collect card details. There is no payment processor connected to this site yet; when one is added this page will be updated before it goes live.

3. Why, and on what basis

• To run your account and the marketplace, because we need to in order to give you the service you asked for.
• To confirm your email address, for the same reason, and to stop people signing up as someone else.
• To keep financial records, because we are required to and because both sides of a trade need an accurate history.
• To prevent abuse, including rate limiting and recording signup IP addresses, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site usable and honest.

4. Who else sees it

Other users see your display name, your rank, and anything you write in a request, a bid, or a chat. They do not see your email address.

Our hosting provider processes data on our behalf. Fonts are served from this domain, so no third party receives your IP address when a page loads.

We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising on this site.

5. How long we keep it

Your account data stays until you close your account. Requests that expire without a provider are deleted automatically.

When you close your account we delete your profile, your requests, your bids, and your messages. Ledger entries for completed trades are kept, because they are the financial record of a transaction involving another person and of our own accounts. Those entries hold an amount and an internal identifier, not your name or email.

6. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict that use. Email support@takeovr.gg and we will respond within one month.

You can change your email and password yourself from your account page.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Spain that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.

7. Where your data is

Our servers are provided by Hostinger and located in server region to confirm in hPanel.

8. Cookies

We use a login cookie so you stay signed in, and a short-lived cookie for form security. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children

TakeOvr is not for anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a child we will close it and delete the data.

10. Changes

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and note the date at the top.
