Refunds and Disputes

How money moves on TakeOvr, and when you get it back.

1. Funds held for a job

Accepting a bid moves the agreed amount out of your available balance and holds it against that job. Neither side can spend it while it is held.

2. When you get a refund

• You cancel before completion. The full held amount returns to your balance. No fee is taken.
• The provider does not deliver. Send the job back instead of confirming. If it still does not get done, cancel it and the held amount returns to you.
• A request expires with no provider. Nothing was held, so there is nothing to refund.

3. When you do not

Confirming a clear releases the payment and is final. Confirm only after checking the stage in game.

We do not refund because you changed your mind after the work was done, or because a game publisher acted against your account afterwards.

4. Disagreements

If the two of you cannot resolve it, email support@takeovr.gg with the request link. We will read the request and the chat history and decide where the held funds go. Our decision is based on what the record shows.

5. Withdrawals

withdrawal method not connected yet Until a payment processor is connected, balances stay on the platform and cannot be paid out. This section will be updated before any real payments are accepted.

6. Account trades

When the account marketplace opens, the same escrow applies: the buyer's payment is held until they confirm they have control of the account.

Escrow covers one thing only, which is a seller who does not hand over access. It does not cover a publisher reclaiming, suspending, or banning an account after a sale, whether that happens the same day or months later. We do not refund for that.

If a seller took payment and then recovered the account back, contact us. That is theft rather than a dispute, and we will treat it accordingly.

7. Fees

The platform fee is taken only from completed jobs. Cancelled and refunded jobs carry no fee.
